H3 VISA PROGRAM FOR INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONALS

Description

This 22-months program is a unique program that allows professionals from abroad, who
have some background in education, pursue an intensive
training in inclusion and inclusive
education in the US, while at the same time allowing them
to work in educational setting.

Eligibility

Currently pursuing or have already completed a BA/BS or MA/MS in Teaching, School
Administration, Counseling, Special Education, ESL, or in subject-areas, such as
Mathematics, Sciences, World Languages, History, and other school-related subjects

If a degree was pursued in subject areas such as Business Administration, Law,
Home Economics, Engineering, Psychology and such, a proof of prior teaching
experience (K-12 level) will be necessary for the candidate to be considered for the
program.

Obtained no prior training in inclusive education in their country of origin or in the US.

Strongly interested in incorporating inclusive techniques in their further
teaching/administrative careers abroad.

Current GPA of 2.5 and above

Satisfactory passing of internal test of reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills;
as well as passing an interview.

Proof of Prior teaching/school administration experience.

Currently residing in the US with a valid visa, like J1, H4, F1, B1/B2, etc, and legal
status.

Bring all required paperwork and pass an English test during the interview
Receive approval by the DHS

Notes
Training is held in NJ location for NY and NJ participants
Work could be obtained in either state
Job Developer will work with all participants to assist them with placements
throughout the duration of the program
